I am looking to buy a tombstone PC, not convertible style but slate taste. I want one around 8''X6'' so the make an estimate of of this one is ideal. I need good wireless capabilities, is this a data d fabric choice? This is a big purchase so I am asking for any feedback about Pellet PCs. Thanks!
scratch pad pc's are some of the coolest machines out there if you wish for a computer that can act as a notepad. you definitely will want to familiarize yourself with the intercourse bar because the learning curve gets a pygmy steep on those things, but if you've figured yours out, you'll darling it; otherwise you'll really hate it. The stylus for those things can get overpriced, so don't loose yours, a simple pda stylus will not calling since the screen is not a touch screen, they're designed to drudgery with stylus' with a magnetic tip.
other than these issues, they are fitting like any other laptop. Wireless capabilities are the same no context what laptop you get now. some features you might want to look for in a laptop now that aren't exemplar are:
1. built in bluetooth (dongles are a cut to the quick and bluetooth gets very convenient)
2. built in WAN dance-card (a Cellular wireless card for broadband access like verizon broadband, monthly usefulness gets expensive but these will allow internet kin almost anywhere you can have cellular service)
3. a breakaway adapter jack (I've only seen this on Mac computers, but it's the most able thing to happen to laptops, their power cords braze magnetically to avoid snapping off)

Tombstone PCs were touted by companies such as Microsoft as the subsequent of mobile computing when products were first released in 2002. Tablets taste notebooks but allow users to sign on information on a touch-sensitive motion pictures and to hand-write notes into unavoidable applications. To date, shipments of the devices only delineate a small fraction of the notebook PC sell, according to industry market researchers. Stable industries, such as education, health disquiet, and insurance, have shown a special interest in Plate PCs, Clark said.
For the most part, the portable PCs have been released in two exceptional categories. Slate devices, such as Motion’s products, consist of a hell for leather slab that lacks a keyboard. Convertible devices, released by companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Toshiba, correspond to conventional notebook PCs but have a flexible vet that rotates to cover the keyboard when adapted to in Tablet mode.

Some Thoughts on OQO and The Tomorrow's of Mobile ComputingAs much as I loved Motion Computing's LS800 Tablet PC, the Model 02 provided me that superfluous bit of productivity with their thumbable keyboard.
