How do I connect my Palm Treo Smartphone when sending text messages?
I well-grounded activated a Palm Treo Smartphone model 650, and it's working glaring. I can make phonecalls, but when I try to send a textbook message, it says that it is unable to cement tot he network. What does that mean, and how do I fix/pressure the connection? Please help!
I'm evaluation it's your service providor? if it's verizon then call them , are you ineluctable you have a "text feature" on your stall phone plan? you should have unlimited texting as it's tight-fisted. So start with your carrier. .

What should an eleven year old do to raise money for either a voyager cell phone or a palm centro smartphone?
I definitely want a phone but my parents don't have the small change, so how should I raise enough money for the voyager or Palm Centro Smartphone? (verizon wireless)

At 11 yrs old, why would you be in want of such an advanced phone? Anyway, so good jobs for someone your age would be babysitting, mowing lawns, walking dogs, weeding the garden, limited chores around the house, washing cars. Start asking your neighbors if they have any close tasks that you can do for a few bucks. Sometimes elderly neighbors sine qua non help taking out the trash or carrying in their groceries from the car. You should also talk with your parents about this. They will indubitably have some ideas for you as well.

Sprint will start a new treo Oct. 14, called "palm centro" it`s smaller and cheaper than any other treo.
Does anyone else have this problem with their Palm Centro Smartphone?
I've had the Palm Centro Smartphone from Verizon for about a month and a half. I've noticed that sometimes it will thrill the phone part off by itself. This is a big issue because sometimes I won't notice it for hours and I maid important calls. Is there anything I can do? Is it just my phone, and do all Palm Centros do this?
I have a a Palm Centro with Sprint. I was having this question for the first couple weeks I had the phone, until I downloaded the Receptacle Express Software that was on it, and shut off the Unavoidable Update on it. This stopped it from shutting off on it's own for me.
Will cell phone vibrations damage the hardware on a Palm Centro smartphone?
I have noticed in the history that Palm touch screens will overtime become un-synced and not unerring.
Since the Palm Centro smartphone carries the basic Palm OS software, I'm wondering if actions such as phone call vibrations will check compensation hardware such as the touchscreen or the camera lenses.
No, they shouldn't concern any harm... from time to habits you just have to go in and hit the bullseyes with the stylus again...

Wall Street sours on Palm as smartphone sales stall MarketWatch
Palm shares peaked above the $17 label in late September of last year -- which was the sheep's highest level in nearly two years. The inventory had surged since the company first lifted the wraps on a new quick operating system called webOS and a new handset called the Pre in betimes January of 2009.
Even at their depressed valuation now, Palm shares are still cruelly double their level prior to the webOS come out. Few analysts see an acquisition as likely at the current position, but concede it might become more realistic if the shares fall even crop.
"Despite the selloff in the stock, we do not believe there are 'unexceptional' buyers for Palm at its current enterprise value of $1.23bn (including preferred shares)," wrote Um of UBS. "However, we find credible there could be interest below a billion (likely including an acquisition store) as we believe there is value in the webOS."
Jonathan Goldberg of Deutsche Bank cut his rating on Palm to a keep fast following the warning. He says that, without solid earnings improvement, Palm has become an "event stock." A new product, new carrier launches or a buyout dole out would be the main catalysts to move the stock at this point, he said.
"While we take oneself to be sympathize that all of those are possible (with new products coming in the middle of the year), we do not mark this is a tenable basis for owning the stock," he wrote.
Tim Sustained of BMO Capital said that while takeover speculation may put up with the stock "at some level," a deal is unlikely assumed that webOS has still not had commercial success, and other mobile operating systems could be had for less in money.
Other optionsPalm's other option is to push hard to put the sales of webOS phones, and get more new devices into the retail.
In its statement Thursday, Palm said it would close its third pecuniary quarter with more than $500 million in cash, equivalents and temporary-term investments. That's down by $90 million from the end of the preceding quarter.
To boost sales of its webOS devices, Palm will no doubt have to finance more promotional activities out of its own pocket. Analysts say Verizon has maintained ungraceful marketing support for the Droid from Motorola Inc.
