Mobile Life in easy way!

I have a Samsung Blackjack 2 Smartphone. My harbour is that it has the option of TeleNav, meaning that the phone has GPS, but when I try to place my own GPS software (INav) it says that "this software was not intended for this will" or something to that effect.

The BJ2 DOES have an internal antenna. I found Itinerary 66 routing software on the Internet somewhere, and it access the internal GPS antenna without a monthly fee. I also installed the modaco program, but I don't ruminate over that it did anything. It's not the most user friendly software, but it works. If you have a details plan, you can use google maps for unbosom. It doesn't user verbalize directions, though. It does give you the latest routes and shipping... but it requires a data sketch.

Try the modaco software (link provided), and perchance your iNav will work. I tried TomTom 6, but it wouldn't occupation. Good Luck!

Absolutely, I purchased the Tilt myself because it does have a licit GPS receiver built into it.

I write GPS software for a living and wanted my next apartment phone to be Windows so that I could write applications for it.

The Meeting has a nice integrated GPS that does *not* rely on the cellular network for stance information unless you want it to.

You do not be in want of to subscribe to the monthly subscription serving offered with your phone. That service *does* use the cellular network for putting and is unnecessary with the Tilt.

Instead, I very powerfully recommend that you browse to maps.google.com and download their software directly to your Contend with. You'll be amazed at how good it is and it's unrestricted.

I decipher somewhere that there is a website where you can download a free GPS overhaul to a cell phone. I have an AT&T Tilt (HTC) it's a Smartphone. I fork out enough for my monthly service and refuse to exterior out extra for a service I may only use every other month. Thanks

The GPS system in a agile / smartphone is a hardware device some software can switch the phone to GPS enabled phone?

Is it required to stick to internet using Gprs/incisiveness/3g for using the GPS system all the time or just to download the map of the municipality?

Admonition - Nokia E50 is a series 60 phone. It has an in-built software for GPS mapping. You have need of to purchase the GPS hardware separately from Nokia.

GPS works unprejudiced of the GSM network. However, certain added features of the GPS may desire network support. But basic mapping is practical without network signal.
