I use my PC unavailable to my TV, using a wireless keyboard with trackpad from the sofa. Once I'm logged after boot, there's no problem. But I need to use a PS/2 keyboard plugged to do the initial log in.
If you can’t find the properly keyboard drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for justifiable about all hardware devices.
