Well the glaring benefit is that you will be able to walk around with the phone as long as you are in range of the WiFi whereas with the USB one you are plugged into the computer with it.

Unbelievable, I have Skype too. No you can't use the adapter to use Vonage, I tried it. But I have the Skype network on my cell phone, my home phone, and my computer. If you pay for the whole thing it is way cheaper than most chamber companies charge.
