I don't be to install it myself. I really messed it up last time on my iPhone and I don't want to take any chances this time... I've seen people on YouTube introduce it and they always do a terrible job and are almost never happy with the results.
In reality, there is pretty much no need to install a screen protecter on the iPad. It is literally scratch-proof according to this article by macworld (a very understandable apple product tester).
