I was looking into getting a headset for my PS3, and I was wondering is the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset with Multipoint Technology was compatible, and what other wireless headsets anyone recommends using. Any suggestions or answers?

I myself use a Plantronics 220 and it works Brobdingnagian! I've had it since mid-January and it has not given me any problems at all! Go for your 510 and it should be working great!

At the yet of its launch, the Voyager Pro was criticised for its bulky and retro looks, but subsequent iterations of the headset, in the form of the Voyager Pro Bonus and Voyager Pro UC furthered its popularity. The Voyager Pro HD remains essentially the same business-like, over-ear headset that Plantronics wants it to be. The resound mic protrudes a fair bit so it's clearly visible when you're wearing it, but the result is that the mic is closer to your... Plantronics, which has remained one of the sell leaders for Bluetooth headsets, offers many options, but none have garnered as much interest as the Voyager Pro which was launched way back in 2009. Last year, Plantronics announced the latest model in the series, the Voyager Pro HD. It's finally hit the markets this year and I've been using it for the last week to see what differences the new headset brings. For a relatively unimaginative hallmark, the Bluetooth headset market is flooded with options, from more established players to cheap, unheard of brands. But how often do you hear real telephone around a Bluetooth headset. On the top of the headset are two separate up and down volume buttons. And even so, it's not really easy to pick out a headset that's packed with enough features to distinguish it from the rest.
