Should I get the Asus eee pc 1008ha or Sony Vaio P series?

i after to know wther I should get the Asus eee pc 1008ha or the Sony Vaio P series. The Vaio will cost me 550 brand new because I discern somebody who sells them. And the Asus eee pc will also cost me the same.

I had the eee PC 1000ha (demean series) as well, and it ended up failing on me. It's not a great pc for games, it's more for internet, e-mail, microsoft employment, these type of things.

I would go with the Asus, however, neither of them would be tolerable for playing games. These are netbooks and not true laptops. The video cards in them will not have the capability to compete with the games you may want to play.

I'm planning to put Ubuntu, but I'm having doubts since there are always driver issues, plus I'm still planning to buy Vaio P, I don't currently have it.

I too, level in love with the vaio P until I actually got some hands on experience with it.....

The trackpoint isn't quite as smooth and responsive as the Lenovo thinkpads or the Dell latitude/rigour.

Produces lots of heat.

The IdeaCentre A720 features a 10-point touchscreen, an Intel Substance-series CPU, an Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2GB, up to 8GB of DDR3 1600MHz RAM, as much as 1TB of mechanical or 64GB of flash storage, a DVD or Blu-ray burner, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi... Not only does this convert the IdeaPad Yoga into a tablet, but you can flip the system over and bend the display ~180-degrees backward so the base serves as a rearward be for the screen.
