Is Intel Atom n270 processor single or dual core?

From what I have look over it a 1.6ghz single core processor but in weapon manager under Processors (on MSI Wind u100) it says:
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz

So I am a barely confused as to how many cores it has.


Some of the Atoms have HyperThreading, which makes it enter into the picture similar to a Dual Core, but it's not exact Dual Core.

it is not in reality fast in today's time. but they should be comparable to the early pentium 4 models back in 2001. But they built to be unquestionably energy efficient.

Im succeeding to get an Acer aspire one netbook cute soon and it has a 1.6GHz intel atom N270 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and it has a 160 GB grim drive. I want to know if it will download doubtlessly and not crash my computer, and if it will run without lag during gameplay.


Doubtlessly not. It won't crash the computer, but there will probably be some lag, as you have an intel 950 graphics carte de visite and an intel atom, which were not meant for gaming.
