Mobile Life in easy way!

i have an old dell inspiron, and it looks chunky. like the icons toolbar and what not. and i exactly got this new computer and on this one i went to desktop properties and then to settings and i could switch the SCREEN RESOLUTION and that makes everything smaller or bigger (to your pereference) but i cant for some prevail upon on my old inspiron? how can i change it?!?!?
it says its xp but honestly, i doubt it.

i'm not unswerving you can do that on the old dell inspiron...i'm trying to think because i in use accustomed to to have one...but i never remember having that feature...i attentiveness it would automatically change to accompany what you needed...and thus couldn't be manually changed back...at least is what i expectation anyways....

I work in an conditions in which I require absolute silence or overlook to it - for this reason alone, I'm considering purchasing a Macbook. However I do not lack to spend the 1000 dollars lowest a macbook will run me - I'm curious as to how garish the Dell Inspiron fans are.

Ok, so I am sensible of getting either an Inspiron e1405 or its slightly larger cousin, the Inspiron e1505. I be informed the e1405 is about a pound lighter (5.3 versus about 6 pounds), so that makes it a bit more unfixed. The important things I am looking for in a notebook? Competent size widescreen (at least 14 inch), pale enough for at least occasional travel (I have one of those Dell backpacks), considerate wireless connectivity, decent audio. In adding to surfing wirelessly, I might use it for light Photoshop occupation (most work would be done on my desktop computer). Any nick on this dilemma would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I present u to go for Inspiron e1405... Its good compared to Inspiron e1505.. Infact as per ur use... both should be fine.. Inspiron e1505 has dualcore processor.. which gives u information performance.. & Inspiron e1405 is orderly for WiFi... Both come with XP MCE 2005...

So the verdict is - Inspiron e1405

I have a Dell Inspiron E1405 and whenever I put the top down without closing it completly, two 1-inch dark-skinned bars appear on both sides of the small screen. Anyone know how to get rid of these?

Try reinstalling the video drivers. The simplest way is to rocking it back to the older driver if you can, then go to Windows Update and get the new driver and initiate it.

Careful, if your video card is Nvidia based, I don't endorse using Windows Update... preferably, use Nvidia's website to get the latest driver, or Dell's website for your chipset drivers.

I was planning on getting an Inspiron E1505 from the Dell website and I didn't even see the 6400 until I recently stumbled upon it. What's the inequality and is one better than the other?

i have an inspiron e1505 and it is faster than the 6400 and is newer, but i contemplate that it is more expensive. So do you go fro performance or cost. The ei505 is also apathetic bcause it has media buttons so that when you niggardly your laptop, you can still control your music. It scratches conclusively, but is very durable when it comes to signifiant damages to it.
