I reasonable bought a cheap acer aspire for use commuting, i went tight-fisted so it wouldnt matter if it got scratched or tamed, anyway on control panel there is a feature which says pen thingamajig, is this laptop compatible with using a pen on the telly?

(ANS) It depends what the course "Pen Device" refers too? a) it could be referring to a Graphics Tombstone which uses a pen device for graphics representation. Not many computer users will have come across this as its a bit specialized.
OR b) YES! it could mayhap refer to a specialized pen that can be used to formulate c arrange directly on the machines screen.
**But you would be most artistically checking this with ACER, have a look on the Acer website (see if you can find the specialized specification for your make & model). If you don't find any concern to this on the website, also see their FAQ section under support. How do I stop my Acer Aspire from adjusting the zoom level all the time?
My Acer Aspire netbook is huge, but for some reason it changes the zoom smooth when I am using the mouse (my screen goes from 100% zoom to anywhere from 10% to 200%. I have right-clicked on it to no avail, and I conceive of it is some default that is set. Unfortunately, there is a sensitivity there on that compel that is driving me nuts! Help please! Thanks.
From my research the zoom is a hype of the mousepad you are using. You could look at oversee panel or any utilities that came with the acer to arrange the sensitivity or turn it off.
The alternative would be to use a USB mouse.
I haven't been accomplished to find details on how to change the settings there. But it does arrive to be a common complaint.
Even the Acer site has nothing I can find.

What range temperature is good to have your acer aspire one's cpu running at?
I have a Acer aspire one, however i have a incorrigible with the fan, so i downloaded this program that lets me command when the fan is on or off. What is the best temperature to have it at? If there is some other fix to my fan problem, let me be sure.
Sounds like you identify what your doing. i dont know the unceasing temperature but the fan is factory set to run 24/7.
You can set the fan to turn off when the CPU reaches a confident temperature. Depending on which software you downloaded it should let you do that.

I have the Linux version and love it, 15 secs from momentous the power button I have a working desktop, 40 secs I have an furnish browser and am on the net!

Acer's Aspire Z5600-GB1 all-in-one touchscreen PC is a genuinely marvellous piece of design. Although its metallic silver tincture scheme looks a little science-fiction inspired, it could fit comfortably in any living stay. It consumes remarkably little power (92W lively including the screen, compared to 150W bonus for normal desktops not including their monitors), runs almost mutely and is a real pleasure to use.
A sturdy metal overhang makes it easy to adjust the PC's angle and doubles as a supervise if you need to move it around. The bright 23in Full-HD touchscreen invites regard, particularly with Acer's TouchPortal interface, an alternative desktop that provides unexacting access to a range of touch-friendly applications, from games to photo albums.
