Mobile Life in easy way!

I reasonable bought a cheap acer aspire for use commuting, i went tight-fisted so it wouldnt matter if it got scratched or tamed, anyway on control panel there is a feature which says pen thingamajig, is this laptop compatible with using a pen on the telly?

(ANS) It depends what the course "Pen Device" refers too? a) it could be referring to a Graphics Tombstone which uses a pen device for graphics representation. Not many computer users will have come across this as its a bit specialized.

OR b) YES! it could mayhap refer to a specialized pen that can be used to formulate c arrange directly on the machines screen.

**But you would be most artistically checking this with ACER, have a look on the Acer website (see if you can find the specialized specification for your make & model). If you don't find any concern to this on the website, also see their FAQ section under support. Or could could phone Acer up I'm certain they will have a technical or customer support phone slews, you could also try emailing them.

Looking for a negligible laptop or netbook? Forget the Asus Eee PC, pick up one of these Aspire One machines from Acer preferably.

My Acer Aspire netbook is huge, but for some reason it changes the zoom smooth when I am using the mouse (my screen goes from 100% zoom to anywhere from 10% to 200%. I have right-clicked on it to no avail, and I conceive of it is some default that is set. Unfortunately, there is a sensitivity there on that compel that is driving me nuts! Help please! Thanks.

From my research the zoom is a hype of the mousepad you are using. You could look at oversee panel or any utilities that came with the acer to arrange the sensitivity or turn it off.

The alternative would be to use a USB mouse.

I haven't been accomplished to find details on how to change the settings there. But it does arrive to be a common complaint.

Even the Acer site has nothing I can find.

I have a Acer aspire one, however i have a incorrigible with the fan, so i downloaded this program that lets me command when the fan is on or off. What is the best temperature to have it at? If there is some other fix to my fan problem, let me be sure.

Sounds like you identify what your doing. i dont know the unceasing temperature but the fan is factory set to run 24/7.

You can set the fan to turn off when the CPU reaches a confident temperature. Depending on which software you downloaded it should let you do that.

I exactly purchased the acer aspire one and I want to hear from anyone else that has one.

Which one do you have, the XP or Linux rendering?

I have the Linux version and love it, 15 secs from momentous the power button I have a working desktop, 40 secs I have an furnish browser and am on the net!

Never used Linux before, but this has made me notion of about trying Ubantu on a 2 year old laptop, which stuggles to run Vista.
