Neither are great machines, if you want real video editing power you destitution a mac, PCs just dont have the graphics encoders for it. HP beats any machine in gaming by far.

Both look very nearly the same, but the HP has a nicer graphics card, and the Dell has a 6-core processor, but I would say the HP because you don't want to bottleneck with a Cyclopean processor, but a lousy graphics card.
