I prerequisite to get my husband a really cool Gps system or a fish finder for him to use while he is fishing in his Kayak. I can only grant to spend about $100.00-$125.00.

I have a Humminbird fish finder on my kayak. It tells profundity, water temperature and it shows fish and bottom character. You can get one for about $80 bucks, but you'll extremity another $40 or $50 or so to purchase a battery and mount. I exchanged the transducer for a thru-shuck transducer so I didn't have to drill any holes. This transducer fits in the spend holes on some of the Ocean Kayak's fishing models. The fish finder makes all the peculiarity in the world when trying to find fish. A fish finder with GPS will rate you several hundred dollars.

There are many styles of handheld GPS units readily obtainable with different features and price points. Your query suggest that you're probably undoubtedly new to GPS. If that is so, there is probably not much need to spend a holdings on a piece of equipment that has features you don't empathize with or are not going to use, Why not start by buying a demean end Garmin or Magellan with basic features and learn how to run it properly. Then you'll be able to go out and buy a GPS that's more suited to your precise needs. Your old GPS becomes a handy backup part.
