I'm looking to buy a GPS Logger but there are so many and so many exceptional reviews about them. I don't want to fork out a lot of money and end up with a bad logger. Where can I find a place that reviews many loggers to pick the most appropriate one?

I acclimated to it to track my daughter when she goes out so I can be informed where she really is. If she went to a party and I dont need her to drive. I can disable the starter. Best GPS Data Logger for Geotagging with Canon Eos 450d?
I have a Canon EOS 450d and I dearth a good GPS data logger I can keep in my pocket or bag and use to geotag my photo's.
I don't prerequisite it for in car navigation or anything like that just geotagging, although I've seen the
GlobalSat GH-625 ogle which I would be curious to know if thats any clever as I do a lot of running. otherwise I've been looking at things like GlobalSat DG-100 or Amod AGL3080 GPS Photo Tracker.
Any opinion/suggestions would be great.
I've really been testing a few of these loggers out at work. Basically, the reaction that I've noticed is that the ones that use the MTK chipset gain the signal faster and do a better job of locking on than the ones that use the SiRF III (such as the Amod).
As far as correctness goes, they are all about the same. In addition to those, I've also got a few other ones. So far, the one that I like the overcome is the PhotoTrackr by GiSTEQ. It costs around $100 when I got it from http://www.semsons.com/ . I also have the PhotoTrackr Lite. It doesn't use bluetooth (which I didn't remarkably care about), it can't act as a GPS mouse (it only acts as a logger), but it uses a solitary AA battery (good for when you don't want to be interested with charging a lithium ion battery). However, the lite conception doesn't lock onto the satellites as without delay as the bluetooth one does.

Looking for a hand held GPS which only needs to display coordinates and work world-wide?
I am starting to get into Geo-tagging my pictures and would like to perpetuate. Right now my process is sort of inconsiderate due to the fact that I only give the general area of where I might have bewitched the picture. I am looking for information and suggestions on two things. 1) should I purchasing an inexpensive hand held GPS entity which works world-wide and would only needs to show coordinates so that I could tag my pics with those coordinates. or should I buy a gps component which has the possibility of tracking and then upload the pics and track classify to my pc, or just buy a GPS data logger and do it like that. 2) do you recognize of any inexpensive hardware for my project. the most superior things are- worldwide and some how keep track of coordinates so that I can tie them to the picture
Any handheld prototype - the cheapest ones will work worldwide and give you the coordinates of where you are.
You can possibly easily purchase one for $50 now that will do what you thirst for to do.
Actually there are not too many cameras out there that will support GeoTagging your images and most of what you may have seen online has been tagged by near.
Nikkon sells a model of camera that fully supports automated geotagging but it is still surely expensive at this time.

CARMEL, Maine --— A woodcutter who suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a tree Tuesday afternoon was the distinct of a dramatic rescue operation that involved crews from several fire departments, a LifeFlight helicopter and regional volunteers.
The injured man, whose name was not available Tuesday unendingly but who was described as being in his early 60s, was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor for treatment of injuries that included a crushed caddy and back injuries, according to Carmel Fire Chief Mike Azevedo.
Asked whether the man’s injuries were considered autobiography-threatening, Azevedo said, “I value so.”
Further information about the man’s medical condition was not available Tuesday incessantly.
The accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. off a mean logging road that runs into the woods from the end of Swett Route, Azevedo said in an interview shortly after the man’s let go free.
As the man was working to cut a tree for firewood in a woodlot contiguous Tracy Brook, the tree struck the back of the man’s wildly and shoulders, pinning him to the ground, Azevedo said.
Somehow, the man managed to get out from under the tree and then crawled about 50 feet to his stall phone, the fire chief said. The victim then Euphemistic pre-owned his phone to call a friend who was working in the woods about and the friend called 911, Azevedo said.
Getting the injured man from the woods into a waiting LifeFlight helicopter and then to EMMC, however, was no lenient feat.
Rescuers’ first challenge was to position the injured man, who was between a half-mile and a mile from the out end of Swett Road. They did that through a combination of sounds and the commandeer of dispatchers from the Penobscot Regional Communications Center, said Azevedo, who also serves as a foreman at the center.
Rescuers honked the horn in the four-circle drive truck they were riding in and dispatchers, who were listening through the bosom buddy’s cell phone, were able to direct them. When the rescuers got intent enough, the friend also fired up his chain saw so they could follow its whole to the victim’s location in the woods off the logging passage.

I have a sine qua non that needs to match a GPS data with each twin. For my Nikon D90 it is fairly easy since I can cavendish in an attachment to the camera and the image will have the GPS intelligence on the EXIF.
However I am using the Sigma DP 1 and I would like to get a GPS text logger that will log the longitude and latitude information every measure the camera shutter is triggered. I can then tourney up the information when I get back to the ground. I do NOT need a telemetry setup. I objective need something that will do the logging of the information.
