I hope for to buy a USB cable for my Nuvi 200, but I want to buy it at a store and not online. I can't find it at walmart, circuit city, objective, comp usa, or best buy. Is there an adapter I can buy for an auto power source to usb?

I am confident that Circuit City, Best Buy and CompUSA have them. It doesn't need to be made by Garmin. It's a commonly used cable and has USB at one end (plugs into your computer) and mini-USB at the other end (plugs into the GPS).

On a garmin Nuvi 765T is it the cable or gps that controls your lifetime traffic updates?

I purchased one that came with lifetime transport updates. Well the cable went out first time we used it so I sent just the cable in under warranty. Delivery cast lost it and Garmin wants to charge me 120 for a new cable.

That was the accurate answer above, it's solely on the traffic receiver itself not the unit.
