Depends on the maker. My Mircosoft keyboard would go too desire. My I had to start checking the batteries every month because i would end up replacing them when the batteries started corroding.

The shamanistic mouse works absolutely and have no issues with it. But the keyboard battery drains in one day. 5v battery since all the rechargeable batteries are 1.
