I have an at&t blackberry and I by a hair's breadth realized that no matter what, you HAVE to have the data plan on the phone. I was wondering if the same goes for Verizon blackberrys or if you have the choice of having an internet plan or not?

HTC Evo 4G LTE review: Almost great
31.12.69
The logo is based on HTC's |critically acclaimed One line of smartphone devices, but it's no mere copycat: The phone combines the One's standout qualities with features that made the first Evo radiate, resulting in a new yet somehow familiar piece... The HTC Evo 4G LTE , launching in the U. S. on May 18 for $200 (with a new two-year contract at Sprint), works severe to reach the rock star standard established by the original Evo. Now, after some lackluster follow-ups , the carrier is hoping to allure the sizzle back to the Evo name with its HTC Evo 4G LTE. HTC's Evo 4G was one of Sprint's first breakout smartphone stars. The Evo 4G LTE trades the One X's unibody design for a two-toned type of casing: On the top part of its back, the phone has a shimmering plastic material that houses the camera lens and leads up to the kickstand. On paper, the Evo 4G LTE seems quite similar to HTC's One X : The phone is basically the same weight -- 5. Make no mistake about it, though: The new Evo doesn't look like a One-series phone. The device follows the source Evo's design, with a dark gray and red color scheme and a bright red kickstand on its back. HTC Evo 4G LTE. While impressive at first glance , however, the Evo 4G LTE has some serious issues that keep it from achieving be fulfilled greatness. The kickstand may seem like a gimmick, but it's actually a nice little touch -- and a sturdy one, too: I found it to be actually useful for propping the phone up on a desk or coffee table for easy hands-free viewing.

In search of my next smartphone, part 1: The carrier

A substitute alternatively of the unlimited gauge that is GSM, Verizon uses CDMA connectivity for their smartphones, which means there's no popping in another SIM for use on another transmitter, and no universal use without a determined "happy" ruse. I've been reviewing a lot of Verizon smartphones lately, and I can say without a scepticism that their network is top cut: coverage is superior, LTE is hasty, and thingumajig election is very adroit. In particulars, they are often credited with having the master network in the realm, and based on coverage and reliability they certainly do. As far I I have knowledge of, their speeds have been beaten by AT&T in some assay, but unquestionably with Verizon or AT&T LTE the... Verizon may have of a higher order coverage and reliability, but it isn't value sacrificing valuation and omnipresent beau id compatibility. De la Vega said that the performers is very complacent with the plan that they will be present without delay to customers and are self-confident about how the next of kin data plan would be structured. Seeing that the $20 monthly data plan only offers 300MB, most customers are likely to judge the $30 plan for 3GB, as it represents the A-one bang for buck. this leaves Sprint as the only vital Immunology vector to bid a shared data plan, which starts at $129.
