I have a Microsoft wireless USB adapter with its own wireless keyboard and HP wireless USB adapter with its own wireless.

Yes, you need a Bluetooth adapter. However, wireless keyboards are not "all that" you still need a wired keyboard for troubleshooting and they use batteries. You can not use rechargeable batteries or low cost on most wireless kb.
