I am looking for a computer for college, and I have always wanted a tablet pc. I cognizant of that IBM was a great computer company and that was the computer that I wanted to get but now everything is lenovo not IBM. So the manufactures are all different.

The conception team is the same, and the manufacturing is the same.


Lenovo brought out the entire PC division of IBM, not just the brand name.

Hewlett-Packard Co. appeared to have regained some of the business it had lost as it was weighing whether to deposit its PC business. CEO Steve Luczo says the company benefited from a general recovery in the market for hard drives. But Seagate says it also shifted its result line to "industry-leading products" across all of its markets. The company says hard-drive supplies improved during the lodge and the shortage is now over. Seagate Technology PLC reports that its earnings in the latest quarter surged and revenue almost doubled. That didn't rot out to be the case as revenue in the Windows division increased 4 percent in the latest quarter.
