I'm idea of buying a netbook... What are some of the best brands that are still reasonably priced?
I'm a Mac narcotic addict - have been for 25 years, but Apple don't build a netbook (despite everyone here claiming that they do... weird huh!?).
Perhaps your unexcelled bet for that market is to look at the HP, Dell or ASUS netbooks.

Acer is a demean end brand.
Asus is the originator of the concept as a device for developed societies (on the heels of the OLPC draft), and makes them pretty good. I have one and it works very well. MSI is another big into them.

I'm planning to buy a netbook but can't manage to buy Apple netbook, still not sure what brand should i get if Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, Dell or Acer.
Apple doesn't insinuate a netbook, unless you include the Macbook Air.
I'd personally get an Asus.
