Hi, i lust after to turn my laptop into a super laptop :D , how would i install a quad core processor into the ei systems 4411 notebook , and how much RAM would i requisite, ( if needed more than 1gig how would i change the amount the notebook can handle?
Your most desirable bet will be to wait till Intel comes out with a Quad core that Apple puts into the MBP.

You (predominantly) can't change chips in a laptop. It's not like a desktop PC where you have a commercially available motherboard and chips.
Laptops are made using exclusively boards with the necessary bits fitted where they can.

It is mistrustful your current motherboard would support a Quad Core set up.
And since you would be replacing the motherboard (which would include your video card, responsible card, network card), which would require different RAM.

I was recently skimming through a match up of BestBuy and FutureShop flyers and noticed that there were some new desktops and notebooks on sale. I noticed that most desktops on the flyers had the new Quad-Core Processors.
Laptops big muddle is the efficient cooling due to lack of space inside.This is why you don't see powerful CPU's in a laptop,they require more voltage and create too much heat.
