I started geocaching rarity with my 7 years. I want a GPS that will do the job without having to pay for something I did not really need.
miwa's innuendo is good, that unit has a USB interface and is reasonably priced. My only gripe would be no electronic compass. For me that would be a "show plug.

I'm new to geocaching and covet a basic GPS that doesn't cost a fortune and one that will work straight out of the box without having to buy expensive topo maps etc. What do you make attractive?

Mostly I need a gps for geocaching but since they cost around $200-300, I figure I could spend a few hundred more and get one that is good for driving as well.
