Netbook? ?
The Green House

I am intellectual of getting a ASUS 8.9" Eee 4GB PC Netbook Computer with Linux from Butt. Do you have one of these? What do you think of it? Do you like it?

Could I like a note papers on it and like do homework and obstruct on it? Also what colors does it come in?

Netbooks to woman are designed to do little more than write e-mails, do parley processing, and do a little web surfing (streaming HD video is thorny). On the plus side they are ultra portable. If you can intermission until March or April, I would hold out and get one of the new machines that ASUS is growing to be putting out (Eee 1000HE or T91 or T101). These machines will have more power and will have more features. As far as Linux is perturbed, Easy Peasy is the best OS for these machines. Windows can be more retention intensive and can be harder on the battery. When Windows 7 comes out it might be a opposite story, but Linux packs the most features for a smaller "footprint". Contemplate this helps and good luck in your ruling.

Also: NewEgg.com (or even Amazon.com at times) might make a better deal.

What Netbook would you recommend that has decent battery life?
Sunset

What Netbook would you back that has decent storage space, has as full vastness keyboard as possible (10" sort out) has long battery life (eg five hours) runs XP and is good-looking well built?

I also wondered if it is easy to synchronise your Netbook with your Desktop so that you can regularly update your files and settings back and forth between the two for things such as Favourites, Contacts, Photos, Music etc.

You have asked the rectify guy! Don't waste your time with anything but the ASUS EeePC 1000HE (impute sure you get the "HE" ideal). The battery can last up to 9.5 hours. Typically I get about 7 hours out of mine but that's because I am always online (7 hours is much longer than most netbooks). Another enormous thing about the 1000HE is the keyboard, it's a chiclet opulence keyboard and it is really easy to strain on for a netbook.

There are new netbooks being released almost daily but you can't go not working with the ASUS EeePC 1000HE. Make sure of out this easy-to-read netbook buyers adviser before you make your purchase... http://netbooksandstuff.com/netbook-ratings

Should Blackberry Get in the Businesses of eBooks and Netbooks? Wall St. Cheat Sheet (blog)

The new Google (GOOG) Nexus One phone is another warning of a tech company crossing into a new, yet related, sector. While reading many reviews of the NexusOne, I noticed many critics called Blackberry (RIMM) the biggest schlemiel. Such a storm of similar comments begs the mystery whether Research in Motion should start thinking of themselves more like a statistics transmission device company and less like a perspicacious phone company.

We all know there are many Darwinian aspects to organization. When considering the long-term picture, no one can be assured whether the ultimate devices will evolve from netbooks, tablets, or capable phones. Moreover, each of these devices offer top brands a come to pass to compete for more revenue.

In the case of Research in Recommendation, the company is clearly one of the premier brands on the dial of the earth. However, as Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), Google, and Sony (SNE) have been innovating into new categories, Into in Motion (RIMM) has been maintaining strict convergence on smart phone devices.

There are landfills full of stock certificates from companies which refused to habituate to the bigger picture. Although Research in Motion has bonzer management and superior products, why are they hesitating to exhibit an eReader and build an eBook library? Why are they denying their most dependable customers the opportunity to carry a sexy Blackberry netbook to the next rendezvous in the conference room?

Surely, there is much money to be made. Fitting think of what Coca-Cola (KO) would have been if much earlier it trifle of itself as a beverage company instead of a soda institution (e.g., they may have bought a young Starbucks (SBX))?

Blackberry has a comparable label to Apple. Users are very loyal and willing to pay a perquisite for the status of the brand. There is no need to rush into new sectors like fools, but there is no have occasion for to lose the opportunity cost of copying Apple’s loaded model. In 2010, I’d love to see Research in Motility surprise the world and guarantee their long-in the matter of a payment survival in the data transmission device toil.
